Hey Guys!!!
My project took over two years. The car was actually down for approximately twenty two months. I am only going to list engine mods and you will have to forgive me if I forget some as I do not have a list.
1) 85 mm Europipe exhaust w/ 6" 100 cell kats.
2) S Car Go 1-3/4" short tube headers.
3) All six header tubes (cylinders)are temperture monitored
4) Headers are ceramic coated and wrapped.
5) S Car Go Racing turbo's. These are hybid turbo's K-24's with Marsentic 235 impellers on hot side, Garrett ball bearing turbos with 3" inducer intakes on compressor side.
6)Exhaust ports on head were ported by S Car Go Racing.
7) Air box was opened up on both sides to pull air from both GT2 wing intakes by S car Go Racing.
8) The intake tubes from the air box to the turbo intakes were enlarged to 80 mm minimum and constructed from carrbon fiber to help keep the intake air cooler. This was done by S Car Go Racing.
9) The intercooler cores are approximate 80% effieient. The cores were purchased from Turbonetics and the intercoolers were fabricated by S Car Go Racing. Intercooler gauges by Andial. Sprayers were added to spray liquid CO2 on cores for cooling charged air.
10) Hoses were replaced with 80 mm tubes at all intakes and special silicon short connections with high bar clamps were installed to take 1.7 bar pressures.
11) The "Y" leading to the throttle body was enlarged to 80 mm and double jacketed to accomodate liquid CO2 chilling.
12) The stock 68 mm throttle body was replaced with a 90 mm throttle body.
13) The splitter after the throttle body was enlarged to 90 mm and added fuel injector was added.
14) ECU was modified by Todd at Protomotive.
15) 75 shot NOS N20 system installed to accuate at 4400 rpm's, pulse power from 10 hp increase to 75 hp increase in 1/2 second. It automatically shut the N2O off at 6600 rpm's. System will not accuate unless proper fuel pressure, WOT, and proper rpm range.
16) There is an adaptive boost controller which has multiple boost levels from 1.0 thru 1.7 bar.
17) Additional fuel injector controller which does not accuate until after 5800 rpm's thereby maintaining perfect streetability.
Like I said, I have forgotten things, however the above is most of it.
The motor produces:
1) 526 rwhp, 1.0 bar, 91 octane
2) 614 rwhp, 1.25 bar, 100 octane
3) 631 rwhp, 1.25 bar, 100 octane, CO2 accuated
4) 681 rwhp, 1.25 bar, 100 octane, CO2 accuated, N20 w/50 shot pill.

Try the cost of another 996TT + a new GT2 on top of what he paid for his 996TT, and you will be in the right ballpark.
I can honestly say that he has outspent and out R&D'd everyone I know in the Porsche world. He has been kind enough to share the info so we can all tune cost-effectively.
I must say that Todd and Wilber did a pretty damn good job if I am really running similar numbers to Chad. But then again, I am running larger turbos...

I dunno, I never got any dyno sheets, but apparently the power was measured by Todd @ PROTOMOTIVE. Now that he is a member of this board, I suppose we should ask him?
PowerChip will be dyno testing the car soon... stay tuned

Chad,
I would be very interested to know the overall cost of your car with all of the current mods? If you are uncomfortable with publicly stating an answer, I completely understand. I had to ask though.
