Greddy Profec B placement?

Where are you 996 TT owners mounting the Greddy Profec B in your cars?

I like it mounted where you can monitor the boost while driving. This location works well...

I mounted mine in the upper storage compartment. It works ok there, but I wish it was higher up because it's hard to look at when driving fast. Some have made custom mounting brackets wrapped in carbon fiber, which looks great.

Here is a pic of mine...

Adam,
I love your double din setup. Is that a kit?

Thanks bro!!

What do you mean by a kit? It's just a double DIN navigation unit, and the shop that installed it built the surround piece.

Green Turbo,

I made the mount as follows:

1) Bought a CD holder frame (without the CD holders)
2) Had a plastic supply store fabricate a lexan plug with the Greddy hole cut in it
3) Cemented and pinned the lexan in place (flush with front)
4) Used plasic filler (Bondo) to fill the voids
5) Sent it to McCarbon (board sponsor) for CF treatment

Here are pictures before and after - this is an easy DIY...

Lane,
That is exactly what I want. Do I just sent you a stock batwing and you will cut it out of that and make it carbon.
