Okay, thank you both! I didn't realize anything on the pump was changed for the GT2 upgrade other than blocking off a port! Other than not having to tweak the OEM part are there any other advantages to the GT2 pump?

Just an update. I changed my power steering reservoir, changed the belts and whining is still there. My guy at the shop is saying there is a problem with one of my pulleys?? He said there are three of them and they should be replaced. Hope he's right.

Remove accessory belt, start car - noise gone or not? Doing this, briefly, can rule out accessories just in case before you start swapping more stuff
