The vette seemed fast enough that if it was in front it would take a very long straight to pass it. On the curves they looked even and the vette may have had the advantage on the one tight left turn. On the straights, the 996 looked faster, much faster. The guy in the vette sure knows how to drive that car, being so relaxed.

 

I don't know the specific mods done to Geoff's Z06 and I don't care. Bottom line is he was smoother, and a better driver on this track than I am and I was appreciative to have someone with his skill who would be nice enough to wait for me when traffic held me up, and then pass back and forth. There was no ego and we both appreciated having the other to run with... Truly an enjoyable day and a heck of a nice guy who can drive, shuffle steer or not!

yup and that is the way it should be. Excellent driver and excellent car to run with. Sounds like your having too much fun there.

Heavy, I had a lot of push. I was running with PSM on because of the sliding... I really need more front negative camber...

I could tell you were really trying to get to some of those apexes, but the car wouldnt get there for you. Decreasing radius turns are our worst enemy.

That track looks like a lot of run though, where is it?
