As you know I have just (well within the next several days) completed the RWD conversion. this basically included removal of all parts I could and adding a Guard LSD 50/80 lock up. (added a tranny cooler also but no necessary)
missing this weekends PCA event at Sebring cause of my ring and pinion being delayed from Germany.
but I have done this for exactly the reasons you mentioned. also the ability to turn in and trail brake with the 80% lock up on decel will also help alot.

I gave away my front diff and once I move on to the real deal RWD set up have no intention on returning. I dont think it will affect the around town streetability should improve it, dont think for me the AWD added much to my driving.
and as for pure driving skills the RWD will let you go to a new level of driving adding in a car with sharp turn in and ability to use throttle oversteer.

I will let you know in two weeks at the 2 day Chin event at Sebring.
You can come down and drive my car at that event and see what you think, may give you the input you need before you do your car.......come on down you are close!!

come down for the Chin event, two days and you can drive my car all you want.

 

You said you'd be running the TT in time trials at that event. Change your mind?

 

was going to be the 944 race cars as the TT has been under the weather, but if you are going to come down please let me know ASAP and I will change things................
