I had the same exact issue on one of my cars. It is not a Porsche buy a Nissan X-Terra. Dont laugh i's a cool little SUV to use on bad weather days, Home Depot runs etc... The prob was that the return line from the condenser had fallen out of its bracket that holds the line straight and thus not kinking or drooping. Well the bracket broke or something due to extreme off roading I was doing. The return line due to its nature carries a lot of water in it from the condenser to resupply the A/C system. My line started to droop and ended up looking like a "U" from all the weight of the water sitting in the bottom of the U shape. The water starts to stink after only a little while and this is what you are smelling. Its funny cuz I guess I got used to it, but when someone else got in the car they were like wth!! is that nasty smell, then they would get a slight headache. All A/C systems operate on the same principles so I bet that is your prob. I was able to fix mine due to I found the line where it ran in the passenger foot well, someone on here I am sure could tell you where the A/C plumbing on your car is. Good Luck.

Tim,
do the following:

close all the window & turn on the AC MAX all the way to HOT let the car run for 15~20 mins. it might solve the problem. give it a try. won't hurt anything.

Klima-Cleaner 250 ml (8.5 oz)

Klima-Cleaner is an effective means for removing odors from the air conditioning unit by eliminating odor-causing bacteria, fungi and other germs. Simply spray into the interior A/C vents and allow to work for 30 minutes. Creates a healthier and fresh smelling environment for the interior of your car that lasts for months

GM and Chrysler dealers sell a big aerosol can of disinfectant to spray in the A/C air intake with the fan running. Of course you'll need to temporarily remove the A/C inlet air filter. On older cars I've had luck just flushing out with a water hose, sometimes with a little dilute bleach water at first. You need to make sure the water drains out under the car freely first. The problem is mold and bacteria growing in the dirt and debris that collects in the air plenum under the evaporator coils. You can either kill the mold with disinfectant or flush out the mud with water.
