Most Expensive GT2 Ever? Wow!
Most Expensive GT2 Ever? Wow!
Hey guys,
New member, love porsche, addicted to the 911 turbo, also a big fan of the N/A engines and chassis refinement stretching 35+ years (who else offers that?)...
Anyway, found a GT2 going for an INCREDIBLE amount on ebay, check it out, insane:

Sweet Ride, but I could have purchased 4 of my cars (light used 06 C2S) or a 997TT and a ton of mods, or even better a C2S for DD and a GT3 Cup Car for the same price. But it does have the really nice new seats.
$265k seems a little too much for a 911. You could get a new F430 or Gallardo Spyder, or LP560 coupe for that much. I know the GT2 probably offers better performance than those but at that price point, I think people are looking for more.

I think the main issue is that GT2's dont hold their value so much , If you buy a f430 for $240 you can easily sell it 3 or 4 years after for $200.
If you buy a GT2 for $260 in 3 or 4 years you will get no more than $90 , That is a big loss.
I just saw a GT2 with 20k miles for mid 80's

GT2 101: 996 GT2's are going for 100K...997 GT2's are so limited and demand is so high that they are selling for 40K over MSRP. I know several people who have tried to buy them (just ask our own OhioGT2) and you cannot get them for under 245K.
And 997 GT2's will not be selling for 90 K in a few years, that is pure crack head logic.
