Garage Cabinets and Accessories

My walls are done in hand hewn beams, ceilng will be complete in two weeks and 900 Kiwi floor tiles get shipped tomorrow.

36 feet wide x 28 feet deep c/w 3 Garaga doors with Liftmasters. The Liftmasters have been modified with two extra teeth on custom titanium countersprockets cutting cycle time to less than 1.5 seconds. (Kidding)

Would you folks be so kind to make suggestions in regard to cabinets, workbench, storage fixtures and any other cool accessories that you have seen or installed in your garage.

Many thanks in advance and pictures would be terrific.

Would be interested in this too. My garage slab is being poured Wednesday, 42wx29d with 3 Liftmasters too. Was planning on putting in standard white kitchen cabinets for storage. But if anyone has some nice looking suggestions... I'll probably put about 30' of cabinets along the back wall and possibly some on the side walls.

I'll have photo's in a few days hopefully ...

Beware, the bling king is about to strike again, and this time, I am taking the dual front strategy.

Tim,

My issue will not be the money but being a Canuck I would expect that my choices may be lesser than Stateside. That being said my Amex and UPS generally look after me pretty good lately.

I just bought a bunch of this stuff from Sears:

http://www.sears.com/sr/search/featu...&bidsite=CRAFT

I'm building a new garage too and it's it not quite done yet so I haven't set up all of the cabinets and storage units. The quality is good (typical Sears) and it has a nice gunmetal grey metallic finish.

Cam:

The reason I ask is that I put together a decen setup from Home Depot here in the states. Of course I wanted the metal plated cool stuff but was on a budget. I know I am in the minority but you can make your garage look great for less. Some of the big boys that put out product (The Ultimate Garage etc.) have great items but you pay a big premium.

So that being said there are several options at Home Depot for steel ones and I am sure you have a similar store there that you could look at.

Anyone with the Craftsman stuff, can you post pics? I see the pics on their site but would like to see some "in garage" pics. They look like a good choice!

Interesting to see Sears also sells their own Racedeck/Kiwi type of tiles! 20pk/$55 = $2.75/sf.
