Factory Aerokit

What exactly makes up the factory aerokit? From my understanding it was a rather expensive option (maybe like $7-10K ???) Aside from the rear spoiler, I can't clearly tell a difference. What am I missing?

Is the aerokit worth the $ the factory charged for it?

The Aerokit for the TT includes a different front lip and the rear wing - bumpers stayed the same.

The GT3 bumper was part of the Aerokit for the NB Carrera.

That's it? Wow ... doesn't seem to justify the premium for the upgrade!

Are the side skirts the same?

In addition to the bi-plane rear wing, the side skirts and front lip were factory painted on aerokit cars.

I think many people that choose this aero kit want a subtle aero kit, and this is the aswer to their demands, even at a higher price...

unlike the 7gt3 decklid, the aero kit decklid does not have holes to install the 2 scoops nor the holes for the rubber gurney flap. also, it has the intake openings for the 997.

Improved Aerodynamics

I read somewhere that the aerokit improves aerodynamics - really??? How does it do this and is it just a marginal difference?
