My buddy who has a lot of track time and experience drove my car the other day for the first time since I upgraded to the IA Stage IV.

He currently has a 99 355 and a new modded M3. During the drive he keep saying that this car pulls like crazy...

When we get back to his house he gets out of the car and yells to his wife in the yard "Honey, this is much faster than the Ferrari !!!"

Brought a big smile to my face....

By the way Peter (wheelexperts) if you read this he really liked my anodized centers... Get ready for a new order... How many sets of HRE's has he bought from you now?

I am anticipating the same thing in the next couple of weeks. Michele and I (mostly Michele) have planned a European Car Meet on August 14. A friend of mine has a Ferrari and he will be following me up there. Well, I just found out that 15 of his Ferrari and Lambo buddies will be driving their cars in a caravan with us as well. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when the KPVTT does its thing!!

 

As a car guy,I know the future will hold a Ferrari for me, but I also know that it will be purely visual compared to the Tq thats on hand now...

 

The thing is, a stock 996tt is faster than a 355.

.....On another note, I detail my Black Audi yesterday with my new Porter-Cable polisher using 3M swirl remover followed by Klasse all in one....This morning at the office in "Full" sun light I could see the marvelous job that I did....Swirl City I obviously need some practice ....

 

Hey Rob. Sounds like you did not work the SMR long enough. Its pretty mild stuff, I had to do it twice on my old Ocean blue C2 before I started to see results. Give it another spin or perhaps try something a bit more agressive if its really bad. Try 3M Finesse-It II, its pretty mild but has a bit more cutting action than the SMR.

I had kill a friends 355 F1 more than a few times when I had my C32 AMG (340rwhp 345rwtq) with 3 passengers.
