I want to get another key fob. What's a good price and where to order?

Also what's the deal with gettng a CGT key fob? is it a lot more expensive?

new key part, can only be ordered a a porsche dealership (after you show the title, and give them a blood sample/fingerprints and your first born child)

you may want to contact suncoast, i think that includes the guts...

I ordered from Suncoast, came quick works perfect. There are NO guts included, and you have to take the security "tube or chip" out of the old shell and I dropped a dab of hot glue on it to hold it in place. Looks awesome, and works perfect!

 

There is a GT key and a 911 key (design), fwiw. ....if you have a 911 you might prefer the 911 model. See the suncoast site. For me, with a 996TT, I'd personally prefer a key that said 911 on it....same basic fob shape and such. Color of the fob looks a little different, but minor issue.

BTW... Be prepared for at least $300. I paid close to $200 for the new key... and then another $100 for the dealer to program it!

While this seems outrageous, I've heard that other car manufactures charge similar amounts.
