Put the car up on the lift yesterday and found a right rear tire badly corded on the outside, and brake pads that were close to being JUST backing plates... I'm done tracking the car until I can resolve my suspension issues. I need more camber, as right now I'm justing killing good tires and not getting any faster.

Nice driving nonetheless. Did anyone pass you all day? At this rate, you'll be in red in no time.

Jeff, I gave two mandatory passes all weekend due to being slower than the other guys... One was to Dell Tollen in his GT3 and the other was to the Red Bull Racing Ferrari Pro driver/car...

That video had some clips of me in "Red" rungroup. I got promoted with Chin, which means nothing to PCA, but was the most fun I've had on track anywhere...

Great driving Mike. Can hardly wait to run again at VIR.

What are your camber settings now? Also which tires are you running?

MIKE very nice man, you are fast as hell as always, VIR is so sick, can't wait to get out there again!

BTW I know how suspension issues and setups go, it's crazy! Hope you find a solution...

My current suspension settings are:

-1.5 degrees front camber
-2.0 degrees rear camber

H/R sway bars
Front & rear sway bar set to middle setting

PSS9s set to 1 rear and 3 front.

Reality is that I've got a track car that I need to finish. I could spend some coin and make my TT handle better, or I could finish my dedicated track car, which is probably the smarter thing to do from a safety and financial point of view...

Not to mention the whole power/weight ratio...

Mike, the difference in what you'd have to pay for a set of JIC and selling your current suspension or just getting some camber plates wouldnt be all that much. Just get the camber plates as a temp solution. Better than buying new tires.

What are your spring rates and damper settings? If you are cording tires you need to be stiffer. You should be watching the hot part of the tires between sessions anyways. If it extends all the way over the tread/sidewall line, then you are too soft, and more camber will help, but you'll still may need to be stiffer. I got well over the line with my large negative camber because I softened my suspension too much at Barber.

Jenk, This:

It's pretty much within about 40 hours of completion before the de-bugging process. Should weigh less than 2400# wet weight, and make over 400WHP.
