You can check Switzer's site (its in my sig) and see what a level three is for mod list. In terms of 623 on pump, you are correct, 623rwhp on Tym's dyno jet. I forgot we have to disconnect the P cars front drive shaft for pulls on the dyno jet. (just corrected it in my first post hehe)

um.... ok correct me if im wrong , so stage 3 consists of , headers, exhuast , drop in panel filter, DV's, 5 bar FPR, k 24/18g's , EBC, and proto tunning, and your making 623 to the wheels on pump ? er.. why do i find that VERY hard to beleive ? its a basic proto 650 knock off .

no fuel system or any of that sort? i call BS .unless ofcourse you meant level 4 , which in that case it does not say what it consists of.

You must have injectors to make 623 rwhp, Thats alot on pump gas, how much boost was that?

I just spoke with Tym, and it is a Level Three kit...it did make 623rwhp (actually closer to 624rwhp) on his dyno jet on pump, and has been backed down to 580rwhp (for street use) due to the car running out of MAF and fuel during that tunning session. Fuel system will get done in winter and I also plan to do those new monster Switzer inter cooler cores. See graph gents.

like chris said above ,you need a fuel system to make that kind of power and big turbos to make that on pump .

this is really interesting cuase IF big IF he really did get that much power with out a fuel system i would be looking at another tunner cuase in reality you were ticks away from blowing it up . that is pretty careless.. but theres no way he made that power with you current setup, unless switzer is the one that gave jack is magical beanstalk beans.

on that note , anyone can fugde dyno numbers to say whatever they want and dyno jets are very genorous .

I just find that hard to believe I have a dynojet as well and I made 570rwhp (16psi/1.1bar) on the same set up k24/18g's but its way out of fuel there, I had to turn it down to 540 just to be safe on stock fueling.

FYI on dynojets you can not change the correction factors, in STD it is what it is.

What were the correction factors on that run?

I guess you claims make sense to me, and I understand what you are saying. I am only stating what I know as the truth. My TT as I stated made those numbers as Tym was testing the fuel system limitations and of course has backed down the boost until we do fuel and MAF upgrades (currently 580rwhp). The point is, it is not warranted for you to call BS on those numbers, Tyms integrity, or my post (which was intended to share a picture and exhaust sounds) when in fact I have no reason to post misinformation??? I guess in the end if you think Tym manipulated the graph and gave me mis information, then obviously you don't know Tym or his integrity. I hear what you are saying on him being careless, but as I stated if he needed data to make the adjustments he needed to prototype a fuel system, he has my blessing. He has built me 3 rides and has always met my demands which have always netted best in class results.

I do recall Todd telling me a while back about Switzer 18g with a Proto tune with all the goodies including Ics, injectors and 2 pumps and that it made even more power then Todd's very own set up... and it was actually 623 rwhp... the graph looks great but it does seem more like a full 18g set up... I actually pulled the email and the figures are exact...
I guess the only 2 people that can elaborate on this subject are Tym and Todd... so lets leave it at that instead of speculating....

I remember seeing this same chart a while back when I bought my 18g's.

I remember saying "623 not bad" So I set my goal for 650+ when I bought them, I will be doing my fuel system very soon and going for it.

Good response, I think less aggression or testosterone on this board is needed.

OK, so I have ordered the PE700 because I wanted a complete set up to give me around 600 odd hp at the wheels. At the end of the day its only a number but I liked the fact that the kit had the MAF, fuel system and intercoolers all covered and that was important to me.

But your tuner has managed to give you some pretty impressive figures already without these. Maybe at the edge, maybe careless but at least its now dialled back pending the maf and fuel system whcih you will be getting. Whatever the case, you got the numbers, you have the graph, and you did a very level headed response to what I must say was a pretty rough post.

Cheers.

I agree on less aggression etc! unvmym3 posted very sarcastically, "this is really interesting cuase IF big IF he really did get that much power with out a fuel system i would be looking at another tunner cuase in reality you were ticks away from blowing it up . that is pretty careless.. but theres no way he made that power with you current setup, unless switzer is the one that gave jack is magical beanstalk beans." There is just no need for that type of BS. Were are all adults here and no need to be aholes...after all, all I tried to do was post a pic and sound clip.
