Hello,
I have just installed the europipe stage 2 loud exhaust on my 996 TT. The sound is exellent, but not that loud. Is there anything I can do to make my car sound more without removing the europipe exhaust? For example:
Can I get the cold start sound all the time? Or maybe install an airfilter to make it sound more?

Get bigger turbos. The added air volume will give you more sounds (and power). The exhaust should also get a little louder as it ripens.

You have to be one of the few that want it louder

 

They get louder after a few thousand miles. Be patient.

 

Actually, Europipe is one of the quitest exhausts for the TT's. I believe Europipe's "Loud" exhaust is quiter than the Fabspeed "Quiet"!!!

Also, I noticed that you had a Ultimate Racing S2K! How do you like it?

i agree europipe loud was still too quiet ... but ive heard that fabspeed quality is not that good

 

This is not a flame - but why would you want it to sound loud?

 

I believe that is a similiar comment to this frequently asked question, "What do you need all that power for anyways?"

I recently installed the Gemballa 70mm exhaust on my GT2. It sounds awesome and build quality is top notch - but a little too loud for me, especially since the GT2 has little insulation... Want to trade?
