After a long wait and having them powder coated more than once, they are finally on the car. I bought them from GMG, made by Champion specifically for a Gt2. They are standard Gt2 sizes and made out of magnesium. I weighed them without tires. The rears weighed 20 pounds and the fronts weighed 17. They are shod with a set of Nitto NT-01's. Pictures don't do them justice.

Thanks for all of the compliments. Believe it or not, it took almost 3 months from purchase to mounting. I kind of like leaving the carbon fiber exposed. The front lower splitter painted gloss could be a possibility. I'm getting the front air vent in carbon, so I will have to take off the front bumper. I really think a set of 24/18's are in my future, nothing replaces more speed.

 

Mario...those are sick! Can you run those on the street safely? I know magnesium is usually a track wheel....
