Are K24's meant to have Yellow or Blue Tags on them?

Are there any differences between the two?

 

my hybrid K24/18g's have a blue tag on them.

 

most of the ones i've seen have the blue tags

i've recently seen a set with yellow's

anyone know if there is any difference here?

wow, i definately want to know the difference in the yellow tag ones too, i actually have never heard of those till now.

my K24's on a brand new GT2 create motor from Porsche has yellow tags.

 

thanks tom - what do the numbers on the casting say?

The blue one pictured above have a "21" cast onto them
The yellow ones pictued above have either "29" or "28" cast on them (can't quite make it out

The blue ones above also have "06" on them whereas the yellows have "03"

Do you have a production date for your motor/turbos?

From what I have seen, the yellow tag turbos have come off of cars that were originally equipped with K24s by Porsche; ie GT2, Turbos S and X50 cars. Blue tag turbos are from Borg Warner. The turbos themselves are otherwise identical and at least one set of part numbers are identical on both tags (each tag has 3 part numbers).
