How was your experience with importing your vehicle into the Great White North? I'm hoping to bring one up in the next month or so, color, year, and options pending! I've done it before, albeit with a BMW and not a Porsche.

Was it easy to get the recall clearance letter from Porsche? How about the DRL's?

A friend actually imported it for me. It wasn't any problem for him, that's for sure. He charged me 500$ for the work.

I get it this Friday!!

So, I have an offer to buy my TA type I wing blade, but if anyone wants to make me an offer on the whole car, I would rather sell it "as is" and save me the trouble and labor of swapping out for factory parts.

You guys seem to know what the car is worth, so if anyone is interested, please PM me. I'll probably ebay it next week.

Once again, 19" TA Formulas with Michelin PS2, short shift kit, little aluminum kit, crest in the head rest, Europipe II Loud, Bilstein PSS9, CD changer, TA Type I wing, Arctic Silver/Black, 63K miles. Recently replaced brake pads/rotors, clutch, 60K mile service.

You might want to try and sell it in other avenues... I'm struggling with keeping or selling mine as well, and it's got a few more mods and a lot of power... Parting it, although making more power, would be a lot of work for you. I'd try selling it elsewhere... The comment about selling in Canada isn't a bad idea. I sold a BMW M Roadster two years ago and made out alright on it.

Although the mileage is higher, I'd expect that the right buyer might pay as much as $60K for it... It's all about finding that right buyer who wants that car with those mods.

If you do get someone interested, Let them drive it (you in the car of course) before you negotiate.

Mike
