How much should I ask for my car?

2003 turbo, arctic silver/blk, 63k miles, warranty until 85k miles or April 2010, 19" TA Formula, SSK, PSS9, TA Type I wing, Europipe II Loud, Just did the service, brakes and clutch all within the last 6 months at Lucent here in LA.

The car runs great, just looking for something more practical. Hard to put a figure on it as there aren't too many comparables with similar mileage.

Thanks in advance for your honest opinions.

ZeroCounter is infamous around these parts
Maybe just as a reference - my friend's bro picked up a 2002 turbo with similar miles last year for hair over 60k =)

From what I have been seeing in my search for the past 6 months, that car should be around mid to low 50's. People really hate the mileage. It seems once you get over 40K miles on a 2001+ car, the asking price plummets.

If the car has carbon, sport seats, nav, etc it may bring toward the top of the range.

I don't know but I have seen low mileage(20k) 2002 TT's asking low 50's and the cars are still for sale. So with that mileage I think 40's is the number IMO.

I'm with teh very low $50K or high 40s...

Parting out is worth your while. You can get 5K for your rims, wing, exhaust, etc..

Thanks guys, I was guessing the same ball park myself.

For some mix of reasons (age, kids, traffic...), I don't feel like DD this car anymore. It is nice to drive but for me, not everyday.

Now I'm trying to figure out if it is worth my time to part out or not.

I just paid 69K for a 2003 turbo with X50 and 19K miles (full optioned)

Imported into Canada it came to 82K (with 2 year CPO)

That car goes for 100K+ in Canada...

I've been looking for a car for the last year, in the last 3 months I've seen similar cars sell for $45-52k. Yours would be in the 50-52k area with all the mods.

I don't think parting a car out with high mileage is the best of ideas, as that's whats going to attract people to your car. There are a lot of high mileage 996tt's for sale that are rather static because they're stock.

if it only had 20-30k less miles on it and I would have bought it from you!
