G55...well fellas...I love this ride! This will be the last of these hand built vaults. The AMG touch is just the pinch of salt the G500 needed to make this beast perfect.

Congrats and best of luck with it....

Personally, I think it looks like a box on wheels, but that's just my opinion....

Is it the supercharged G55? or the "normal" one?

Anyways, congrats on an awesome truck. I hope you'll bring it off-road, where it belongs.

Thanks...I agree about the box on wheels...but that's what makes it "cool" for me. It's not like anything else out there. And, that exhaust rumble is like nothing else I've heard this side of a NASCAR!!

John...the ride is pretty harsh but that's the AMG suspension working. The handeling is just amazing for a 'truck'. The acceleration is also impressive for a car weghing almost 7,000 lbs. A Cayenne turbo is faster but I just love the style of this beast. It's really impressive how these trucks are put together. It is completely hand built in Austria...over 6,400 hand placed welds.

Zorro, it's not supercharged. 350 hp. As far as off roading....the G55 is designed more for the tarmack as opposed to the G500 which is better for dirt. The 55's suspension is pretty tight and those 285/55/18 tires won't do so well in dirt too.

Thanks Justin...I got the extended warranty just in case. I plan on keeping it for some time. These things can cost a bundle to fix if an issues come up.
