It's a great time to get into one with low prices to be had if you look hard enough. In the end though it's only worth what someone will pay for it...

Mine will eventually be sold, and It won't go for any less than $65K... And I'll get that, or more... When I'm ready...

And although it's a bit of an inconvenience, I'd sell to an overseas buyer... So long as they paid all the fees and paid cash up front with a broker, I'd be OK with it.

I sold my MRoadster to a dealership in Canada and that took a while to have picked up by the transport company and to get thru customs, but in the end the dealer was very pleased with the condition of the car and how it was represented, and the price.

Not to mention with PDK coming, the limitations will grow exponentially. And as we've seen with Porsche over the years, older is better. When you take the old stuff (that works) from the car, value goes away.

OK Im stupid what is( PDK )

Also, if you buy a low production model (Turbo S) the value should hold better than higher production cars (non Turbo S models). A 1997 Turbo S (one of 187) run $150,000 to $180,000. New, they cost $170,000. A lot to pay in 1997.

I can't believe that the used market for a TT is about the same as the C4S...

Makes me want to sell the RSA and get a TT

WOW!! Nice!! and I thought I got a good deal when I picked up my '03 with 45k on it for $55k!!! I would've bought one with more miles on it for less $$$, because I knew I was gonna mod the hell out of it anyway, but when I was shopping, my car was the best deal out there, and just by chance, local.

How do you guys feel about an 03 with 26k miles for $60k? Should I push him lower?

IMO, that seems like a very fair price given the miles, but in the spirit of this thread, it seems you can do better...push him!

I looked at a very similar car with X50, 29k miles here in CA. Dealer would have taken 56k! Can't hurt to try going lower......keep us posted!
