Damnnnnnnn How low can they go!!!!! are we at bottom yet????? I saw one today for 41K with 60Kmiles on it!!!!!!!!!!!! this is really getting depressing!!!! Their such fantastic cars! I know they made a lot of them,, but come ON!!!!!!I cant see selling a good 996 to get new headlights. I bet you could buy the whole front end less than the depreciation.

I'm not fazed by 41K at 60K miles. My car has (almost) 25k original miles and is damn near new looking. It also has 4 years of warranty left. Let's stop looking at the least cost denominator.
What are 993TT prices? I'd love to add the following to my collection:
315 HP //M Z3 (under 30k?)
993 TT

face it the 996 styling was never that big of a hit and with porsche going back to the 993-esque styling with the 997 it's only hurt the brand more. 996TTs are the best bargain cars out there IMO but I don't expect prices to ever rebound. 40-45k definitely seems to be a bottom though for higher mileage 996 Turbos.
If Porsche takes the GT1 block from future TT's you can bet the prices will rebound. A dry sump motor with a weaker block wont make the new generations all that appealing.
Not to mention with PDK coming, the limitations will grow exponentially. And as we've seen with Porsche over the years, older is better. When you take the old stuff (that works) from the car, value goes away.

993TTs are money in the bank that's definitely a car you want to buy and hold on to i can see those fetching 100k in the future.
The 993TT is nice, but is old, and not as solid a car as the 996TT. I had my 02 996TT for sale and the price was right and it still didn't sell. I plan on keeping mine, as the market isn't reflecting what these cars are worth, atleast five years from now.
The car is worth what a buyer will pay.
If you look outside of rennlist and 6speeds, you'll see these cars priced in the upper $70s... I know of a number of these cars being sold away from 6speeds for MUCH MORE than listed on this site.
6speeds is not reality for selling these cars...
$41K, PuhLeaze...

Ok.
Yep, local 2004 cab is 95k. Sold at the dealer. Dealer says I have a nice car ..... (wink, want us to sell it.......).
Another dealer told me interior condition sells these and repair record. FYI.
At Mannheim, these cars are getting scooped up and sold overseas...the weak dollars makes these a huge bargain for the all sorts of people even with shipping and taxes. I was told there is a lot of Eastern European interest right now...
Just enjoy the car. Nothing else out there for the same $$$ that is as much fun ....IMHO.

. Now it seems like a buyers market since you get so much car for the $$.
