Make sure the roll bar comes out easy. Because for street use they are not safe unless you are planning on wearing a helmet all the time. This is another topic that has been discussed extensively. Maybe Tom will talk about this??
PCA runs top notch events so you will have a great time! Enjoy the car as is was intended to be used.

roll bar usually means the half cage BEHIND front seats. this goes in for three reasons first roll over protection, second to attach the harnesses to, and third to stiffen the chassis. they are not "usually" put in and out for events but can be (PITA). they are totally safe for street driving.Originally Posted by Gunther

you may be confusing the full cage in which you have the front part as well so your head could theoretically strike the side or front without a helmet and not safe for street driving.
most feel if you are approching speeds of up to 150mph you should consider safety measures and at least roll over protection.
