I realize there are plenty of cars faster than mine, but today was the first time anyone's tried to race me and beat me. Damn Nissan GT-Rs. Wow.

My S has a modified DME, so I should be putting out around 480HP. So yes, I thought it would be close. And to be honest, it was pretty close. But nobody's ever beat me before.

No offense taken. We came up to a light together. I smiled and tried to gesture that I wasn't gonna mess with him. He punched it, so I followed suit. He got the jump on me, but beat me fair and square. He was definitely pulling away from me.

Maybe two, but the distance wasn't very long -- less than 1/4 mile. I'd like to try it again. If I see him around again, I'll try to post some more results.

those paddle shift cars have an advantage in launching too. much easier to get a repeatable perfect launch. but then again, GTR will outrun a TT in curves too.

but if speed is my game, i'd get a ZR1 right? surely, GTR is a great car but it wont be in my stable.

 

dual clutch makes a huge difference on the street...4 wheel launch control is just cool to watch in action
