Sorry to bring this from the dead but I just used the instructions to remove mine today...Good DIY guide!

Only thing I can say is that removing the muffler strap is a *****! All i did was hank yard and move it until it finally came loose

Yeah that thing can be a *****. For those who are taking that off, just make sure you use some gloves. Ive seen DEEP cuts from guys who tried to yank that out.
