Footage of me chasing a cup car...
As soon as I get my TT I'll be out there, too! I just LOVE to go fast......can't wait to see how well these cars can perform...in the meantime I'm on here learning as much as I can! All the info has been so helpful and very motivating!!
Thank you Mike!

Thank you Mike!
I didn't see any women out in that session, but there's this one young lady who shows up in a white GT3. She and her husband do endurance races... She's fast as anyone out there... There's also Melanie, wife of the guy who runs the Audi Club events. She drives a 996TT and is pretty quick.

Here is a little footage from our friend Sean Edwards winning at SPA last weekend, watch the pack go through Eau Rouge at serious speed http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XI4ONtkWZCc
But we had no chance in the twisty bits
Mike, your car runs fast no doubt about it, but that aint no cup car seriously, if that was a cup car (no disrespect) it would eat you, me or any Turbo up for that matter, you could live with it easy enough on the straights, but he should carry unreal speed in the corners, as I say don't get me wrong dude but that sounded very different from a cup car. I dont think Mike was saying that his car is as fast as a Cup Car, though it could be in the ballpark. There is much more in both cars and posting videos of some of the fastest cup car drivers in the world isnt really relevant to us or what we'll see at a DE because we see lots of Cup Cars at DE's with the PCA, and most times a good driver in a car like ours can outrun them due to lots of factors, be it driver familiarity, just warming up or whatever.
It's just a video, no assumptions apply.
That was the point exactly!
Thanks Dez!

Hey Marius, Sean can drive, there is no two ways about it! That would have been the Fearnsport Cup Car when we were there, they work on my motor, it was Rob Payne (Kurgen) in his Cup Car, he was out getting track time as he just purchased car a few Months before, now sold, as usual too much money to maintain.

Mine is using the IOport mount with a panasonic MiniDV w/20X optical Zoom...I went to replace it with a newer, but lower end mini-DV from panasonic and had to return it. My display screen is dead, and I eventually want to go to a chasecam setup, but this thing has been going strong for 4 years, so I guess I'll keep on using it.
BTW, You really want to use a CCD camera... otherwise it won't be able to stand the vibration and "steady-cam" will be worthless...

I have a Canon HD DV tape ..I'm thinking that I didn't mount it properly.
Did you use any rubber or damping material under the I/O clamps?
Thanks
Elliot
Nope, just the mount as it came out of the box...
