Which Rims???

OK,

I have finally broken down and have decided to change my rims, not because I don't like them any longer but I am upgrading to the "Brembo Brakes" and I have to run 19" wheels.

The question is what Fricking Rims to I get??? BTW, what ever I get they are going to HAVE TO HAVE WHITE centers.

AVUS, Champion, etc...... Please recommendations........

Thanks Guys.

Also, do you guys recommend I sell my 18 or should I keep them?

I'm trying to get back down there by the end of the week (I'll shot you a pm), I still have not decided when to ship the Porsche down, I may wait for the weather to trun up here.
I wonder how black center HRE's would look on a white car? I think KSA has a killer white turbo with black center rims and a crazy CF wing.

Orli,

I don't understand the not being able to use 18's? I have the Brembo GT3R brakes 380 mm fronts and 350 mm rears with the super wide monoblock LeMans calipers.

I am using Fikse FM10's which are an 18" wheel.

Chad,

I was told that to run the bigger Brembo I need to go with 19". Now with that said I know that Brembo makes a kit that will fit the 18". I figure if I am finally going to change the brakes I might as well change the rims.

which Brembo are u going to run?

if u're going to run F50 4-piston GT kit u can buy the 14'' kit instead of 15'' kit. the kit comes with new front wheel carriers & since running 14'' the stock 18'' will fit. based on my experience the F50 4-piston kit has better/firmer pedal feeling than the hugh 8 piston kit.

just my .02 cent, have u ever thought about PCCB since u have white wheel... PCCB = no brake dust!

good luck on the wheel hunting but as a friendly reminder, keep the stock wheel because u'll never get the ''fair'' value on them.

Hamann wheels are RIDICULOUSLY overweight. The kind of "overweight" where you can feel that it has slowed your car down.

Orli,

I really don't know what these other Brembo brakes are? The brakes I am running are the same ones used on the GT3RS cars right out of Porsche Motorsports. You have to custom make an emergency brake because they do not come with an emergency brake application. The calipers alone cost approx. $2,500, apiece.

Orli, I would look into getting a set of 18s made to clear the Brembos, look into Fikse, so hot on the white car.
