Rejex

Is Rejex like Crystalguard?

It almost sounds like it does the same. I have Crystalguard on my Turbo and only need water to clean it.

Is Rejex applied like a wax? How often does it need to be reapplied?

I'm a detailing morron, all my cars are black, I get swirls anytime i try it myself.

Should I even bother trying Rejex? It costs a lot less than Crystalguard but Crystalguard only needs to be applied once?

From the reports I've read they are both similiar. Only way to really tell is to give it a try. I don't think ANYTHING needs to be only appied once. 3-6x's a year should do it though.

I haven't tried rejex yet, but I have some that should be arriving today. I really only plan to use it on wheels/bumpers/glass/behind the tires. I will be doing a full car w/ it this weekend to give it a shot though.

and stop buying black cars, or find a good detailer

RejeX is applied like your standard liquid wax. apply with a towel/applicator let it haze (few min) and then buff out by hand or orbital buffer. I have never used Crystalguard so I can not comment. The RejeX is excellent on wheels, and just as good if not better on paint and windows in other ways.

I am offering a money back guarantee if you are not happy with it send it back.

BlackBear,
We have applied CrystalGuard on many cars and the results have always been excellent. Here is a link to how CrystalGuard works http://www.crystalguard.com/how.html

On the flip side of the coin, we have done more cars with Rejex with equal or better results for the amount of effort envolved.

CrystalGuard - Great on new cars, lots of preparation but long lasting (7 years).

Rejex - Great on a larger variety of cars, fast and easy preparation, very slippery but short term (4-6 months)

Is there a benefit to putting Rejex - or anything else - on top of Crystalguard? I might just be waste of time since it would be so short lived compared to CG.

How much do you charge for Crystalguard?

BlackBear;

I had CrystalGuard on my Black MB and although I really, really liked it, the Rejex is, IMO far superior in terms of shine and slippery. Rejex also has that whole non-stick thing go'n on.

Also, I think it is not exactly true that CG last all that long, you do need to touch it up a few times a year or so depending on conditions.

CG is great stuff. Rejex is great stuff. Niether will save you from swirl marks.

Crystalguard's OWN website says it only lasts 1 year.

honestly I will never put CG on any cars except if I own a supercar. There is no point having it, cars are meant to be driven and if you want to protect it, do not waste that much money for it. CG is expensive because it takes a long time to do it. Too much hassle.
