colored gauge face

Anyone change the tach gauge to a colored one? want to know if its something I can do myself or if its very involved..

Do a search. I know it has been talked about. I did mine and it was not hard but not simple either.

Be patient and VERY careful as the gauge needles are sensitive.

I did mine and screwed it up. Broke the speedo and tachometer. Had to buy a new cluster $1800 from the dealer. OUCH!!!!!

You need to be real careful lifting the needles off. That is probably what Torres had issue with. The little gears behind there are sensitive. I popped on and was able to take apart the gear box and re-assemble. I did need a spare part for another I messed up so I got an old gauge set off eBay cheap and scavenged the part.

Like I said it is doable, just be patient and don't force anything

I did my tach last month... very easy.
When taking off the needle, use a fork under the round base and pry it upwards carefully.

IT was putting it back where I think I applied to much pressure

Like Joyride said, not hard but you have to be careful

That is what I did, also followed instructions very carefully and still f'd it all up. Pay someone to do it that way if they mess it up they can fix it.

I only want to do the tach gauge & they want $300.00 to install it.. sems like alot of money ....

I've done mine tach gauge too, be patient with the needle. Other than that, pretty straight forward.

Yea its not a hard job, but as everyone else said be very careful taking the needle off.It looks great after its done and worth the chance...to me anyways
