What specific tools needed to work on 996TT for maintenance?
SubscribeDoes anyone have a list of must have tools to work on a 996TT? It seems everything is Torx. At Sears, the standard torx kits just come in T20,35,30,35 etc... are there other sizes that are needed? Anything else that you could recommend for your standard oil changes, clutch accum, slave, etc...?
TIA

The first and most important tool is a durametric code reader....

Are these tools actually worth buying ?
If you plan on modding for sure you need a good diagnostic tool. The Durametric is the closest to PST2 or PIWIS on the market. It can read Porsche codes, data log and clear most all codes (including airbag codes).
