Where is it at in san diego? I would recommend doing a PPI at either pioneer or hoehn porsche so you have some piece of mind. If he is fairly local to me I dont mind checking it out.

thth-

I recommend doing the Porsche CPO inspection- not having them CPO it, but do all the checks on the cpo and use the same criteria... this way you get an unequivocal inspection and a written document. Also, you must ADD the 'DME dump" to look for any error codes as well as OverRevs. Finally, if at a dealership, print out the total VIN service history.

Good luck- 600 miles from me, so I can't help!

A

Aslo, there is another 2002 turbo that I would rather to get, but it is in snow area which scares me away.
Any opinion would be greatly appreciate !

By the way, that black thingy right under the front bumper, what do you called? is it easy to paint to match the car's color?

Thank you

I would always recommend a PPI. You just never know and sometimes a good deal is really a bad one.

Good luck.

Google the VINs... the first one seems to be moving around the state... Santa Clara, now San Diego!

The black thing it the 'spoilterlip'. yes they can be painted, or new added, even in carbon fiber. (Factory aero kit included a painted version AFAIK) But they tend to get smacked up, and a painted one shows the damage with more clarity!

Have you owned a black car before?

Yes. I am definitely will get an PPI. But before do that, I like to know its conditions first such dings, dents, how bad interior showing, etc.

If someone live around those area, and could do a quick look for me that would be wonderful and fully appreciate !

iJeremy,

Thanks for offering!

I would rather to stay with dark grey, black, white, and yellow in 2002 and 2003. 2001 has no cup holders.

The dealer that has the Black turbo is located in Miramar , I assume they buy these cars at the auctions or porsche tradeins , Porsche pioneer is down the street. I have seen they usually stock a lot of turbos and prices are very competitive. Make sure you get a PPI before paying or buying and also all the keys , tools , etc mut be included.

Good Luck

Thanks a lot for your input, Microboby!

The seller told me that they are car wholesaler. Therefore, their prices are low comparing with others on the market. All their cars are in the 14000ft show room not outside lot. They deal with millionaires mostly, they could not sell those high end vehicles with burst engines.

I have asked he says there is only 1 key.
On the tools, what kind of tools come with the car?
Could you or someone in here please list for me what should come with the turbo?

Thank you

thth, I have been to motorcars direct before and was not impressed with the condition of most of their cars. However, there are always exceptions... Is there any particular reason why you are looking at dealer cars, I would much rather buy a car from an individual/private seller...I will try to swing by motorcars over this weekend and let you know what the condition of the black car is...

I have no particular reason to buy from dealer.

See what I like then go for it, that's all !

1. tiptronic
2. white, yellow, dark gray, black.
3. must be excellent exterior and interior. No dings, no dents, no visible seat wearing (I am very picky person lol ) to unaided eyes lol.
Have seen one local from private seller on light silver in very good price with Porsche certified warranty still, but its driver seat shows aging a bit even it is 2002. My heart tells me say no no to it

Best regards.
