1. DO NOT REPLY ON THE CPO INSPECTION. Period. Absolutely not.
Get your own PPI done by someone other than the selling dealer- preferably a technician experienced in working on 996TTs. Have them do the CPO checklist, and add a DME dump to look at codes and over-revs. Also ask the selling dealer to pull all porsche records they have and 'de-identify' if necessary.
You should know that if there are defects, problems, etc that the dealer misses, the CPO might NOT cover these.... Although the CPO was recently expanded, a blown clutch or 2nd gear pop out issue will not be covered by a cpo (IMHO). (As an example, you are lookin at a Tip.)
I assume this is from a P dealer who just recently did the CPO? Make sure the CPO coverage is the "new" coverage they just announced in August. Once a car is CPOd, it is CPOd for life- but it may have the old CPO coverage, unless your dealer updated it.
2. 2003 with 20k miles- 50k including tax might be tough. If it is exactly what you want, close, perfect, etc, be flexible.
3. Ask for all the option codes from the sticker under the hood- these will be 3 alphanumeric characters each- this will tell you what is on the car. (The list you have above is mostly stock...) If you need an Order Guide (which lists every option and list price for 2003 cars) PM me an email addy.

would make me worry if I didn't have a CPO warranty, But 50k would be tough unless you have someone on your side there. Have you shopped around all over?

Geezus if that car has black interior that is exactly what I would be looking for. 03+ model year, CPO, Seal Gray, 6spd, etc right at $50k max. If you don't buy it...
I will. (maybe)
I will. (maybe)
it is tip not manual though.
$50k OTD for an 03 with 20k miles is very hard IMO, espeically if it's a CPO. The best I could find on a 2003 (20k miles) turbo was in the mid 50's. You never know what you can get in this market. Wish you the best.

IMO, if you have to pay $50k-$55k, it's still a pretty good deal, if the PPI is clean. I bought my '03 Seal Gray on Black, loaded except Nav, 6spd, 46k miles over 6 months ago for $55k. I just turned 50k miles. I think thats a lot of car for sub $55k...Good Luck.
Wow that seems like a damn good deal. Man how can you go wrong? Just get it if you like it. 48..50..55. Those prices should be secondary. Whether or not the car has the options you want, right color, and is in a condition to meet your standards are factors that should hold precedence, imo.
Another blooded day for wallstreet yesterday (may be not for today), that is the cause to make Porsche getting lower.
Thanks
