Wow, great customer service story. I feel much better about having a Evo SC in my car now...not that I didn't already feel good about it...

I don't understand the Boxter SUV thing...

In any case, let me drive your SC while you drive the Cayenne. I'll keep the seals nice and bonded for you

Everytime I have spoke to Stephen he has been helpful. It did not matter if I was buying anything or not. He is driven by passion not greed as some others. I have many friends that just called him to shoot the **** about tunning and he was always available to them.

Plus I can not imagine my TT without the Stage IV... It would be boring now...

Should we all have our cars checked for leaks just to be safe???

Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great thread. With so much apathy out there, it's good to see there are people who really care.

Good to hear it seems resolved, but what is causing the leaks to begin with?

It costs alot of money to build your compressed air system to hold the presssures these cars are developing. The throttle body connection, diverter valve hose, and all the joints from the intercoolers to the "Y."

If you want it consistently reliable you need to eleminate 99% of the joints between the intercoolers and the Y. The last joint on each side needs to be redesigned and a stronger hose used along with a certain clamp.

The throttle body connection needs to also be redesigned. The Diverter valve hose needs to be fiberglass reinforced and then the fiberglass reinforcement needs to be covered with a layer of poly. S Car Go has this and most of the other parts available.

All my leaks ceased to occur once this work was done.

I am glad everyone has now realized that Todd/Stephen and GIAC provide great support when things seem to be out of the ordinary. I too had problems in the past and they helped immediately in finding the problems.

They all back their HP claims and if there is anything wrong, they will do their best to provide the neccessary support.

I am happy to see that everything has been resolved.

Great job guys and keep up the good work.

A VERY HAPPY GIAC customer.

Question

Other than seat of the pants feel, pressure testing the system or putting the car on a dyno how would you know if there are boost leaks. Would the boost guage show a drop in maximum boost?
