Hoosier tires

43820SGS 245/40R18 SGS 9.2" 25.3" 79.5" 9.8" $246.00

43850SGS 285/30R18 SGS 10.9" 24.6" 77.3" 11.4" $265.00

Would these size's work for our car ?(not burn the front diff) I'm trying to go less wide in the rear to try to reduce a tad of understeer with tires.

Thanks guys!

Enrique

MRE is infamous around these parts
I ran the same rear size but a narrower front size--they hook up! Better than mpsc's. They don't last long on the track if you are an aggressive driver. I never worried about the front diff--They weren't on long enough.

I run Hoosiers R series for club events on my Gt2. I am not keen on getting pulled over by the police as I will be booked for sure. Best track tyre choice I am aware of but understeer is best sorted by aggressive alignment. Limited though with stock TT suspension. I still have understeer issues and have spent plenty. I understand that the 'smart money' is on the Hoosier A series Hoosier for quicker lap sprints. Very sticky for a few record laps. I noticed some very fast times appearing and tracked it down to these qualifiers. Anyone had any experiance with A Hoosiers? They are my next buy.. after the GT610 is fitted.
