Gallardo vs. F430
#31
F430 since it is a Ferrari and will have better resale (since we know you are will want to upgrade in the future). Both are great, but I do not like the fake manual trannies. F430 6 speed is perfect!

F430 without a doubt. In my opinion, Gallardo outperformed 360; but did nothing for me. I just passed on a 360 to wait for a 430 to get both passion and performance......
when all is said and done my guess is that the 430 will list for more than the Gallardo. As of June, the base price for an '04 360F1 coupe was $168,140. With options it came to just over 180, I'm sure there will be a healthy price increase for the 430.

430 for resale and flamboyance.
Red, yellow, or midnight blue.
An F-car makes a Lambo redundant.
F1 gear because it is so darn good and very F1 indeed.
An F-car will not replace the Porsche as a regular driver and track car. No rock chip or rubber allowed on this car.
Hmm. I'll have to wait for "goog" to hit 200

I'd take either, but the 430 is more exotic looking.
With the Gallardo, you might kick yourself and wonder whether you should have dropped another $100K and gotten the Murci.
With the 430, there really isn't a close choice. The Enzo is $400K more expensive.

This is a good thread - keep em coming - such a tough choice in all honesty, especially since there is a SICK decked out 6-speed Gallardo in a showroom here with EVERY option including navigation and clear engine bonnet!

If you absloutly can't wait for a 430 then get the Gallardo, especially if one is available with the specs that you want. Check if it's a Euro version with European certification. It'll be easier to sell it over there without loosing too much then trying to sell it in Dubai.

I'm surprised so many will choose the F430 over the Gallardo. Does everyone except me think that the 430 is a step back looks wise over the 360?? I just can't figure out the rear of the car....
No, a orange Gallardo with black centered/polished lip HRE 840R's is what I'd choose.
However if I got to choose one car to blast around the Nurburgring for a day I would take the Ferrari any day of the week!
And I would get the 6speed in both cars!!
