Gallardo vs. F430

Ok guys,
I do not want to start a war here or a thread of flames to either brand...
Given the choice between the two (they are almost in the same price range albeit the gallardo beung pricier), which would you get and why?
Also, how do the specs compare from a performance standpoint?
What are forecast production numbers for each?
How does the F1 gearbox compare to Lambo's E-gear?
If you would buy either of these two cars, would you go for a traditional manual or a sequential manual gearbox (F1/e-gear)?
I think its atough call...what do you think?

I'm partial to the Murci, but considering that that is not an option I would say the F430 looks nicer. Performance wise who cares? You're going to mod it anyway

Ok - CS is not an option but since so many mentioned it - when is expected release date for each variant: coupe spider and CS?? What about est MSRPs? (I assume they would be close to those of the 360)....

I'd go for an F-1 430.
As much as I like the Gallardo, I think this one is the one that my heart's telling me to buy. I know it's tough choosing between them and I can understand why you're confused.
Ferrari made about 11,000 360s in both coupe and spyder models. No idea if Lamborghini would produce that many.

But seriously, I'd love to get a current CS right about now. That thing ROCKS!

F430 without a doubt. In my opinion, Gallardo outperformed 360; but did nothing for me. I just passed on a 360 to wait for a 430 to get both passion and performance......

when all is said and done my guess is that the 430 will list for more than the Gallardo. As of June, the base price for an '04 360F1 coupe was $168,140. With options it came to just over 180, I'm sure there will be a healthy price increase for the 430.

Well I am picking up an eGear gallardo on Tuesday, however I would take the Ferrari any day, after seeing the pics. Of course you have to wait for the F-Car dealer hype and bull**** clear up.

HOwmuch is the msrp on the F430? I take it the F430 spider will soon follow? Are dealers takign orders at msrp?
