I know, I'm crazy, but I've always wanted a Testarossa and the prices have never been better. I know it will never equal my 2 in performance, but there is something about a F-car. Hell, it might actually hold it's value or even appreciate over the next 5 years. Check it out.

Wouldn't trade a GT2 for that particular Ferrari.

I've been told by a Ferrari mechanic that they see a lot of the Testarossas. He said, they never did run right. I wouldn't get rid of my Porsche for it although it is very cool.

Wouldn't want any Ferrari (F40 and F50 excepted) prior to the 360 period. Definitely wouldn't even think of giving up a GT2 for one.

a testarossa and a 512tr are two totally different cars even though they look similar. In 92 they upgraded the testarossa by boosting hp by 50 hp to 430 and they stiffened the chassis considerably. There is a huge difference in handling between the two , IMO the testa is horrible handling , understeers and the 512tr is much much better handling car and great hi speed cruiser. That is why there is a great difference in prices about 40-60 between the two models
The sound of a 12 cyl with a tubi is something unique ( of course I am biased owning a 512tr) I would not have any ferrari as a dd .
The gt2 is an awesome car and you cannot compare the two. If you want to turn heads the f car wins hands down though

They can be had for very cheap.....comparing to a GT2. They are expensive to maintain and like said before ....supposely never ran right.

I'd pimp one Miami Vice style thou.

No way, no how.

You have to ask yourself this question: Do you want to drive your car without worry of reliability/mechanical failure issues?

Besides a few documented problems that are easily fixable, most TTs/GT2s/GT3s are dead nuts reliable. If you want to "own a ferrari" to say you own one, I'd have to go for a 355F1 or 360/430... Even they are to expensive to maintain in my book.

Do some repair cost evaluations.....

Me: nope. Only for a F430.... I like reliable cars.
