Is there much of a performance advantage going 100 vs. 200?

Thanks!

I went with 200 cell cats to avoid CELs but dont know if they would pass an air test...
I installed 100 cell cats w/fabspeed exhaust and have never had a CEL.

I have had Europipe w/100 cell cats on for over a year and never threw a CEL. Quality has its rewards.

So, the way I read it, it sounds like the 100 cell sport cats are less restrictive and provide better flow. Right?

Actually looking to purchase some today.

Thanks for the link!

If you are unsure if you can pass or not why not test before you go to the test, the shops in US must have the same test equipment . If you dont pass with 100 cels try add E85 that will probably solve the issue but not to much i assume you have E85 in Cali. .

okay if you have 1" and you fit 400 cells in it they are jam packed but if you put 100 cels there is more room and air flow

in texas you should have no issues with 100cell cats

How long will 100 cells last before they need to be replaced? I have a used Fabspeed V2 with 100 cell cats of unknown mileage that I was going to install.

I'm thinking about switching from 200CEL cats to 100 CEL cats but it looks like the cats alone are about 1k...
which ones are you going to buy?

The only issue in Cali is that smog tests require a "visual inspection". An inspector can fail you with aftermarket exhaust even if you pass the sniff test. However I don't know of any test stations that failed based on visual inspection. If you want to play is safe, get a europipe that look like factory pipes or RUF that are modified factory pipes.
