How to tighten nut on top of strut?
Can someone please tell me the best way to tighten the nut on the top of a OEM strut(22MM or 19MM). I've tried and it is a total PITA. The rears aren't so bad because you can counter wrench the nut from the top, but the fronts have me confused. Any tips or ideas or links? Thanks, Ryan
Correct. You have to install the upper mount with the whole assembly away from the car. You need the room to get the wrenches and your hand in there... Or use an impact. It'll spin faster than the piston and run the nut down on the threads.

Rob,
Do you know what a Not joke is? Here's an example.
I like going to the dealership a week and a half after making an appointment, and while there, bending over, grabbing my heals and paying thru the roof for something a chimp like me can do.
Thanks for the brilliant suggestion.
Meanwhile why don't you stop being so nosey about everyone elses builds and go get some 60-130 numbers. You paid a enormous amount of money, and you like to brag, so here is your chance.
