Lidatek anyone? Would appreciate some info!

so i have in my possession the lidatek 30.

looks mighty tough to install - getting the detector to sit out near the bumper and to run the wires into the cabin..

anyone have any insights on installation?

reliable?
personal experience?

any experience or grief with the law enforcement with regards to the lidatek?
especially since it's not legal in california

thanks!

Mine shorted out. Didn't bother to replace it.

Duane,

You have both front and rear protection? What did you pay to have it installed...

Has it saved you?

Just got the new Le-30 installed last week. Get a pro to install it. FWIW, the LE-20's were the ones that were shorting out, not the LE-30's.

Gary I don't recall what it saved me. I only have the rear which I heard is all that matters. It has saved me many of times.
