From what I read, here and elsewhere, It sounds as if the motor has been hurt internally... First thing I'd do is confirm this is the case. Next thing I'd do is make a decision and then stick with it. Also, I'd ditch any External Boost Controllers... I've never thought they were good to use for anyone not at the level of a Markski or some of the other "top" performance guys here.

In this economy I'm not sure I'd lose even more on another Porsche Turbo... The depreciation on the 996 has been bad enough for me to stay put.
