Talking Gumball3000 2004 Here I come (Paris to Canne)

Ok everyone, time for me to save money. I most likely will do this now for I was born in France and our family has a house in Paris. So most likely I will stay in France another week after Gumball.

Here is the email I just got today about next years Gumball.

Dates: May 4-10th 2004

We are now taking entries for next years rally, and you are officially invited to take part once again. The entry form can be
found on the website www.gumball3000.com

- Paris (Pre-event party on May 3rd followed by the chequered flag dropping on May 4th)
- Madrid (check-point Real Madrid football club)
- Marbella (party on the beach)
- Marrakech (a major party)
- Barcelona (VIP hospitality at the Spanish F1 Grand Prix)
- Cannes (the film Festival starts the day after we arrive - so our finish party will kick off the film festival!) - what more could
anyone want - it'll be amazing!!!

3000 miles
150 cars
7 days
5 parties
1 Grand Prix

The rally will also be filmed again for a major release - and we are in talks to have 3 of the worlds leading film directors to each shoot 48 hours. Should be pretty mad.

Fred,
Are you definitely doing it?
Your car?
Overseas transport?
Do you have a partner?

That whole film and movie thing sounds like all hype. They have been saying it for three years and the only video I saw was Mischief 3000 by one of the teams!

Well, I recomend a Bel 966R Vector Europa remote radar detector because US detectors don't work in Europe and best if its a remorte install detector since they are ilegal across europe (except UK). The spanish cops can a pain sometimes (watch out specially in Barcelona/MontMelo circuit) but the french cops are the real **** retentive pain in the butts.

Valentine 1 does work if you adjust the frecuencies but its not as sensitive and is visible across the windshield. US Laser diffusers (Lidateck, Blinder, etc) should work fine here

I think these ship to US: http://www.incargadgets.co.uk/shop/p...products_id=68

The route is just ausome though, I think it will be the best Gumball so far
