Fuel mileage increase with new flash
Fuel mileage increase with new flash
I know it's dependant upon type of driving etc., but I'm seeing 6 mpg improvement with my latest flash from EVOMSit. My driving style has not changed between programs.
Previously I was getting right around 17 mpg and now I'm seeing right around 23 mpg.
Typical driving entails commute on highways (no freeway) 20 miles to and from the office. Mostly stop and go between lights with mixed speeds ranging 30 - 60 mph - occasional blast in second or third gear, but cruising in 3rd most of the time.
Previous flash was the EVOMS/GIAC GT640 and now I'm on the EVOMSit GT660.
What are you guys seeing and on what program/equipment?

Since your car now has fuel injectors, the MPG calculated by the on-board computer is inaccurate. The on-board computer was programed for OEM injectors, so once you install larger ones, the MPG reading goes out the window.
If you're calculating MPG the old fashioned way, disregard the above.

I had the same thing after injectors, I thought I was getting better milage because the onboard computer displayed 23MPG. Actual testing calculates to 15-16MPG.
