I had a ride in an earlier version of a similar creature in Berkley, CA in the early 80's--amazing tuner/shop there owned by Bill Shoreman. His shop put a 911S engine in a VW bus. Beautiful installation looked like a factory creation. It was a sleeper with the exception of two fat tail pipes, fat radials, and modified suspension. It would smoke the tires furiously. We went for a ride hunting for prey and found (all be it ) easy prey in the form of an Alfa at a stoplight. Totally hysterical, you could actually see the Alfa driver pounding his dashboard in frustration as we left him utterly in the dust. Bet he sold the Alfa within the week. Nothing like a sleeper.
