I'm looking to trade again. I think everytime winter comes around, I get itchy and I start looking for cars. Should I trade my Gt2 for either of these? A picture of my 2 for reference.

Can you imagine either car with a twin turbo package?

Your GT2 is nice, but since you've had it for a while I'm guessing it doesn't feel as special/fun anymore? I think the Gallardo or maybe an F430 if you can swing it would make a nice change.
Are you planning on doing a TT Kit on the Gallardo? If not, you will be taking a significant step back performance wise.

The prices are getting very attractive on the Gallardo these days. I was keeping a close eye on them ( until the economy tanked!). The silver one has been for sale for a while, so they might be finally getting anxious to move that car.
Since it seems that you do not keep cars for too long,, I might look closer at the black one as I just do not think silver lambos are as desireable as their other colors. Might be an easier resale for you.
It also seems as though the egear is more desirable for most Lambo owners, so the 6 speed might also allow for a lower buy in price.
Let us know if you do indeed get one, I will be curious to see if you can get either of those cars for closer to the low 90's. I am guessing that in todays car market that 90k will take etiher of them.
Good luck

Mario, don't do it. You will miss the 2 for sure. Go test drive a gallardo and you'll understand. The 2 is such a nimble, light & powerful car, and the G is 80% looks/20% performance. If you must do it, I'll buy the 2 and sell it back to in 3 months, when you're dying to have it back.
I really like your gt2, but you seem like you're ready for a change. I personally like the silver car more, but I prefer the interior of the black car. They are both beautiful, that's for sure.
Why do both cars have 2 calipers on each rear disc? Is one the e-brake and the other the regular brake?

Would you like to meet me at FOW if I can arrange a test drive? They have an '05 E gear on the lot. Should be fun eh?
Man, you are a pragmatist for sure.

Having to have a close friend who owned a dealership for the past 6yrs dealing in high end cars. I have been lucky to have driven almost every car that you can think of.
That being said I had a chance to trade my 996tt back in to him for a 360, but like Luisgt3 said "you will be taking a step back when it comes to performance". If you are looking to have everybody pay attention to you as you drive by then go with the LAMBO, but if you want your cake and to be able to eat it to the GT2 is the way to go in my opinion. The porsche could be driven everyday if you wanted to given that the repair cost is low. Still have to follow the dream, we want what we want! Good luck no matter what move you make I guess you can't go wrong.
