appears to be for a 996 turbo, some kind of slant-nose. Looks great to me

 

looks like the intercooler intake is different than a turbo, so that could be a std 996 with aftermarket body panels

This months featured car was on display at the Toyo Tires rig at SEMA 2008 in Las Vegas. Apparently, David Huang began the build on this car 1 month before the show. The concept was a rarely seen Japanese modified Porsche 996 Turbo. The build included a Top Secret carbon fiber wide body, Ikeya Formula suspension pieces, Arqray stainless turbo manifold, titanium exhaust system, Endless 12-piston calipers, Aragosta coilovers, and a Roberuta air cup system. Auto Fashion (AutoFashionUSA.com) was hard at work installing a gnarly brake and suspension system at the last minute before the show and delivered on time.

 

nice find. The front has a CGT look about it. The rear I don't care for at all

In the vid there is a turbo, but the pic above (in the middle of the thread) is a narrow body. Look at the tail lights

 

ask "1JDM996", I believe he own the one in 1st pic.

 

I would love to get my hands on this body kit, anybody finds out more about it please let me know. It is totally different than what we are used to here.

 

yea the owner is on the site, 1jdm996...I believe it is a turbo.

 

Love the nose, want to get my paws on that part of the bodywork. The back is not something I'd want for my own car but it's seriously and uniquely radical in a way I respect. Overall awesome Porsche.

 

oh yeah...good eye! they are diff tail lights.. wonder whats under the hood.??

 

I also love the front end of this car but feel that the rear is a bit to much for this old man .

 

Would be a good kit for a salvage car > track car project.
