That sucks big! With regards to a turbo s selling for cheap, I can add my recent sale to compare. 16k miles for 75k vert. With 2 buyers on the hook I could have played the multiple offer game, "everybody send in your best and highest", like I do in realestate. I assume I could have done the wrong thing in many ways, but both buyers were treated fairly and given the opportunity to lock the deal down with their word and or a wire. The buyer gave me both. If this had happened to me, which it actually did on a pcar and Park Place Porsche in Dallas was the dealer 1.5 years ago. I would be looking real hard at a private party sale, especially with someone on this forum. It seems to me like there are many options out there with super cars for super prices who might have a little character when the rubber meets the road. Good luck! The right car will come.

That is really low...do you want to tell us who the dealer was? The universe has a way of paying back people like that...but we could direct our business another direction too.

That dealership is located in an area where they get buyers to spend top dollar so I doubt they care too much. Plus their reputation already isnt stellar so it seems theyre not interested in winning a popularity contest. I also think the OP shouldnt have posted the PPI results here..

Thanks everyone for your support. The dealer as stated is Porsche Exchange, Highland Park,IL. The Branch Manager owes me an answer today - but at the end of the day i am not going to spend my days fighting this off with them for $300 and my wasted time....its just not worth my time . I would rather be spending my holiday with family and look around for a nice car.

The latest news my Sales Manager Larry Lacoste told me, he was out of office on Wesnesday due to a family emergency and the other sales guy totally disregaded his fully completed sales agreement and went for the next higher deal this guy offered the next day in person.

I have a feeling , the branch manager just asked Larry to shut this deal and they took care of the paperwork for the guy who paid 54k, while me and my bank were being told to wait till they get the buyers order ready.

Yes, i shoulndt have posted on here before i bought the car....just me being naive and couldnt hold the excitement after 3 months of looking....

Still have high hopes...and looking around.

Thanks for your support and encouraging words. I already spoke to the owners..Mike smerskey of Smerskey enterprises. They have no help ...total *******s..They basically blamed it on the sales manager and the sales manager blamed the Branch manager (Bruce). Bottomline - its hard to reason with people who dont conduct professionally and have no integrity.

Its just a waste of my time...I aksed him my buyers order and he basically told me they lost it. I believe they flushed it and closed the book before my bank could get the fax copy.

Porsche Exchange is a fancy Posrche Dealership on the outside but they operate like just any other shady car dealerships.

I used to be sales manager for a dealership and there are tons of things you can do.
But it all depends if you want to do something about it or not....
If yes let me know ill see how I can help.....if not.... dont worry, cars depreciate by the minute...its not the last one out there.... You may find something better, newer, lowers kms, for same$$ or even less... We are going into winter and ppl are selling toys left and right.... SORRY for the agravation... its things like this that gives the industry such a harsh reputation...

All the Exchange Dealership are bad. Audi, porsche. I was trying to buy an audi rs4
price was good i left came back they wanted 700 more to close the deal cause they said they where losing money to sell me the car, the sales man was not making anything on the deal, Just trying to get me to dish out 700 more to close was cheap. I walk out!

As i was walking out sales manger said, he cannot believe i am willing to lose this Rs4 for 700 dollars, I told him "he is was losing 54000 for not selling the car to me!"

Still looking for a clean Rs4
but thinking about other cars know,
Also my silver/ black 996tt is for sale if you want to check it out.
Marski can vouch for me and i can throw in some killer RECAROS.
PM me if you like

You should seriously consider buying from a private owner. Much better transaction posibilities and any Porsche Indy shop can perform a PPI. Just check their reputation here and eslewhere first.

Hey Guys,

I am delighted to say that now I am officially a new owner of a 2003 Seal Gray 911 Turbo,6 speed. I basically raised hell with the highest levels of Porsche exchange management and it worked. They came back to me with an apology and took care of me with another car that just came in. I feel like i got a good deal on this car.

Its a 03, Seal Gray with Black Full leather Interiors,Sport seats X71,X74,X51..18inch techno wheels.all options i wanted . It has about 26k miles and a one owner ...best of all "0" Type 2 overrev and 1110 Type 1 Overrev.

I must thank everyone on this forum for their great support and advice...and now i am officially inducted into the p car world after 8 years of BMW.
For others who are looking ...i must say this ...Patience always pays off...its kinda strange for me to wait this long for a car..but i am happy now.
. Its been 3 months and $600 worth of PPI and endless hours of forum time. I basically got this car for what i would have paid for a 2001 model about 3 months ago.

Before anyone talks about modding,I already talked to Todd.....

Also will post pics tommorow..the car is getting 4 brand new conti tires put on and the snow in chicago has delayed the delivery a bit ...but must have some cool pictures up tommorow.
