EVO GT Packages - Bench Racing!
EVO GT Packages - Bench Racing!
Upon the release of the new EVO-GT packages, I was compelled to determine how they all stacked up to each other. I was interested in not only peak HP & TQ numbers, but more so areas under the curve and how the bottom ½ of the RPM ranges compared. I was interested trying to determine from the data if different turbos were being used for the top end packages, or if the Garrett modified K16’s were being used across the range. I was also trying to determine what would be best for me if upgrading from my current Stage 4 GT/R (GT640).
The data has all been eye-balled from the dyno charts on the EVO website and are in no way intended to be factual. I believe the numbers are fairly close and are useful for comparative purposes, but then again they could be total crap.
Todd, please let me know if something is out to lunch here. I though it would be interesting to have a comparative discussion on the various EVO GT packages.

Great info!! I have the GT 750 and love it. The GT 700 looks to have the best daily useable power curve. I will be upgrading to the GT 800 this winter and adding some different gearing. Maybe those new gears will help?
