A lapse in coverage might have cost you significantly...the most inclusive policies require current manufacturer coverage when they are purchased (the idea is that this will avoid their policy being purchased for a car with an existing failure. The owner is more likely to have had it fixed by the mfg warranty.)

A

Edit: Good luck:

Try Genuine Warranty Solutions...I just got a 4 year, unlimited mileage "exotic/factory" exclusionary policy--best peace-of-mind I could ever have I have a 2002 Turbo, so I definitely didn't have any factory coverage remaining

You can get a Total Shield warranty even if you are out of factory coverage. I had that on my turbo and it paid for itself during the time I owned the car. When I sold the car, I even got the remaining prorated balance back.

PM me if you want the number.

I like easy care. It's well worth it in repairs and resale.

How's it hanging Richard? Liking the M5?

Hey Ari,

I'm liking it now that gas is $2/gallon. Just put a evosport muffler and x pipe on it so now I'm on the gas pedal all the time. However, it isn't like the turbo with the europipe on it.
