Another more $ than skill
Look at the skid marks - It looks like he was not the only one spinning out in this turn.
That is a pretty risky track for a beginner. Look at the position of this barrier. Move it in to give people more margin for error. Why is it there?

1-That's old.
2- MUCHO props to the owner for taking the car to a race track. And even more props for pushing the envelope. I admire the guy for pushing the car (and eventually smashing) rather than one that does like me and putts around the track ... lol
3- I don't think insurance covers track ... so the car is smashed ... with no coverage. That's gotta hurt!

The guy posted on another forum, I think he was filming a commercial or doing a photoshoot when this happened

I agree about Road Atlanta. Done a bunch of road events long ago like Walter Mitty, Code's superbike school, and road raced bikes on the old course. It has eaten a bunch of bikes and cars over the years, but nevertheless, a great track. My favorite.
I've driven at RA too - that is the scariest part of the track coming down from under the bridge you have to stay way out before turn-in for a very fast downhill, off camber right hander onto the pit straight. Watching the ALMS guys take it full tilt is incredible. I'm surprised how this car got out of shape at that exact part of the track though - it looks very early.
