I'm amazed that a "porsche" specific product requires so much modification to work. The DaSport bar I have didn't require any of that, and was very easy to install with the front seats removed and the rear seats folded down.
No cutting and trimming of anything...

I've installed mine two years ago without the video and was a pain in the a.. This video describes all the necessary details. One additional recommendation will be to remove the rear view mirror.

My tequipment unit is just the bar and doesn't have the center section. The rear seat area is still useable... if I still had a back seat! I never had to trim ANYTHING!!! Fitting the bar was HARD!!! A second pair of hands would be a good call!!!
